Would you like for your teen to get out into the community, have fun with his peers, and further develop his social skills all at the same time? Wynns Family Psychology is pleased to offer an advanced social skills summer camp for teenagers! This week-long, activity-based camp will provide teens with the opportunity to learn and practice social skills in "real time." Using a combination of "in-office" interpersonal group therapy and community-based social activities (bowling, mini-golf, outdoor activities, etc.), this summer camp will help your teen build self-esteem and improve life skills. This summer, your child can improve his social skills by practicing conversational skills, greeting people, listening, working together, playing with others in a group, taking turns, and sharing. Before heading back to school, many kids could use a little help improving their play, conversational, and social skills. This camp will offer a unique blend of lessons, activities, games, role play, worksheets, and videos to help enhance social skills and self-esteem. Social skills groups provide children with a safe and relaxed environment to practice skills with peers, and receive immediate feedback and coaching.
