Danielle Lamb, LCMHCA, has a Masters in Counseling Education. She specializes in providing children, adolescents and adult therapy. She also provides group therapy for children.

Danielle provides children, adolescent and adult therapy. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, social skills development, emotional and behavioral regulation, self-esteem, family changes, life transitions, women’s issues, and parenting support. She has experience working with children and families in the school setting as a school counselor and helps provide support for learning challenges, executive functioning skills, ADHD, and behavioral and social challenges in a school setting.

Danielle strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that focuses on the individual needs of the client. She pulls from Strength Based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies to provide a treatment plan that focuses on client driven goals. She loves incorporating play, art, and movement into sessions. In serving the whole individual, Danielle is able to incorporate faith and religion into the therapeutic process if requested.

Group Therapy for Children and Adolescents,
Cary, NC

Danielle leads groups on anxiety, executive functioning, and self-regulation for children and teens throughout the year as well as a week long summer camp. These sessions provide group members real life skills that they can start applying on day one. With movement and hands-on activities, children and teens will build up their toolboxes to help tackle the challenges they face.

Danielle graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Counseling Education. She received her Bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University. She has a background in school counseling and working with children and their families in individual and group settings.

Outside of the office, Danielle loves spending time with her family. Together they enjoy hiking, traveling to fun destinations, watching sporting events, and taking trips to the museums and parks. When she needs some downtime she loves reading a good book, listening to music, watching a movie, or enjoying a competitive game of Uno or Mario Kart.
